There is also lots of free fun to enjoy throughout the site such as mini golf, sand pits and crafting areas.īy participating in activities, families can learn new skills (having lots of fun along the way!) and also earn points for their chosen Patrol: Squirrel, Badger, Hawk or Fox. We particularly enjoyed the hot air balloon and trapeze skills where we got out of our comfort zone as a family and got involved. You can get involved in everything or kick back and take it as easy as you like. Throughout the three days families can get involved in more than 100 pre-booked activities that include arts, crafts, circus skills, biking, team sports, hot air ballooning, den building, tie dye and loads more. The setting is magical and the proximity to London (the Heritage Pine Forest in Sevenoaks) makes it really accessible for Londoners and their little people. The festival is small and manageable so great as an introduction to festivals with kids. Set in a stunning forest location, just 40 minutes on the train from London, Camp Kindling is a mash-up between an American summer camp experience and a British festival.
